We’re tired of hearing Boston and New England doesn’t have a music scene, so we are throwing a fest about it. NICE, a fest is back July 23-26, 2026.

NICE, a fest is Get To The Gig Boston’s annual celebration of the Boston and greater New England indie music scene and community. All artists on all past NICE, a fest lineups have been local to Boston or have ties to the area. In 2026, the lineup is expanding to include artists from all six New England states. No headliners, just 3 jam-packed days of the best of the best local indie music that we think you need to hear. NICE, a fest is a venue-based festival, taking place in the Davis Square neighborhood of Somerville MA across 3 venues within walking distance. Wear your most comfortable shoes, earplugs and some merch money and have a NICE time with us. July 23rd through 26th.

NICE ITEMS (: 

  • Small bags, totes, and purses are permitted, but subject to search by venue staff

  • Reusable water bottles are permitted, but subject to search by venue staff

  • A rock and roll mindset

NOT NICE ITEMS :(

  • No luggage or large bags or backpacks

  • No drugs, firearms, knives, or weapons of any kind

  • No professional photography/video permitted without a NICE photo pass

  • No outside food or alcohol

  • No skateboards/rollerskates/bikes etc. Please leave those things outside of the venues

  • No squirt guns/misters/spray bottles
